Prior to Tales of Valors official release, Relic has already put up patch 2.500 torrent for public download (see below) so that you can play with Tales of Valor owners as soon as Tales of Valor multiplayer goes Live on April 9th. This will enable an unlimited amount of people to download the patch simultaneously at relatively high speeds since everyone will be uploading at the same time they're downloading. With all the necessary Tales of Valor content included, the patch is so big that Relic has taken preemptive measures to prevent server crashes and extremely slow downloading speeds by using Bittorrent to distribute the new update.īittorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data. Like the previous expansion before it, patch 2.500 will enable players using vanilla Company of Heroes and Opposing Fronts to be able to play against Tales of Valor players in multiplayer without actually owning the new game.
